CCC2 Confirmed Hurling Gradings

Following Monday night's CCC2 County Delegates meeting , CCC2 confirm the hurling league gradings for the 2017 season. CCC2 will issue advance fixtures next week for all competitions.

Protocol for Games Not Played

Please note the following procedure in place for several years for all competitive scheduled juvenile fixtures ( U12 - U16).

If a fixture is not played for any reason ( unplayable fixtures, walk over , etc ) the home team emails the details to juvresults@dublingaa.ie stating the reason why and include the fixture details , age group, code, division.

If you are the away team and the website has not been updated by the Tuesday following the fixture please also email details to juvresults@dublingaa.ie

Venue Reversed

CCC2 would like to compliment Clubs for making sure as many games as possible have been played over the last two weekends despite the weather.

If a fixture in a double round league was reversed ( only applicable to U14, U15 & U16 Football Leagues at the moment), check the website for your future fixture in the league against the same opposition. If the second game venue has not been reversed , please email details to juvresults@dublingaa.ie

GAA Registration Number

REMINDER: As previously notified for all CCC2 Fixtures in 2017 , a list of Players must be submitted to the Referee. The list must contain the GAA Registration Number for each player ( please make sure your mentors are aware of the relevant section per attached CCC2 Regulations). I attach a template which may be used for supplying this information to the Referee. While CCC2 has been pleased by the response so far , some teams / clubs are not supplying the referee with this information.

extract from CCC2 League Regulations:

  • Team Sheets – Team sheets are required for all CCC2 games. Team sheets must include players name in both Irish and English along with their GAA registration number. All team mentors names must also be listed. Failure to issue team sheets with required information, may lead to forfeiture of game.
  • Teams failing to wear bibs will be fined €25
  • Team lists and substitution slips must be issued to the referee for all games
  • Failure to issue team sheet will see teams fined €10 & may lead to forfeiture of game.

Note: The above has been implemented for the 2017 CCC2 Season following discussion, feedback and agreement with Club last Autumn and is not in place to generate revenue !!
