Dublin GAA Juvenile update Monday May 4th

Mon, 4th May 2015

below correspondence from Cathaoirleach Bord na nÓg, Ken O'Sullivan

"Damian, a chara.

On behalf of Coiste na nOg Atha Cliath, I write to thank and acknowledge the Host Clubs, Venue Co-Ordinators, Club Members, CCC2 Committee, Parnell Park Staff, the Players and their families & supporters, who made this weekend's Féile na nGael a tremendous success.

Saturday's weather conditions were some of the worst we have experienced but even the torrential rain could not dampen the spirit of Féile.

Congratulations to all the players and mentors who participated in the matches. The skills on display across all six divisions is a tribute to the development of hurling and our juvenile games programme in Dublin, and signals a very bright future for hurling at club and county levels in the Capital.

I look forward to the Finals for Division 6, 4 and 2 which will be played shortly.

Comhgairdeas.

Cionnaith O'Suilleabhain
Cathaoirleach
Coiste na nOg, Atha Cliath "

I attach the CCC1 & CCC2 fixtures for this coming week.

The Féile na nGael Finals postponed will proceed this Saturday May 9th.

CCC2 has deferred any U/14 Football Fixtures for next Saturday impacted by player participation in these games to the back match date in the Juvenile Fixture Calendar of Tuesday August 11th . We assume the "A" Football teams for both Castleknock and Lucan Sarsfields will not be impacted. U/13 games will be deferred if panel members involved ( need to inform CCC2 by Wednesday at the latest and these fixtures will be rescheduled to Thursday August 13th). The six clubs to contact their opposition for next Saturday asap.

Féile Peil fixtures details will be issued Tuesday May 5th.

U/12 Hurling advance fixtures will be also be issued on Tuesday.

Yours in Sport,
Damian
