CCC1

Many thanks to those who supplied CCC1 with changes for the age groups U/8 , U/9 , U/10 & U/11 for post Summer fixtures. CCC1 is now working on updating fixtures to reflect group changes.

The U/12FootballBlitzwill take place onSaturdayAugust20th. Details have been sent to your Juvenile Secretary. There are 105 U/12Football teams and based on experience of this blitz in recent years , CCC1 have decided that clubs must opt in to take part.

CCC1 will allocate four teams per group, so each team will get three 20 minute games. The normal U/12 Go Game Football Rules will apply for the blitz day. Medals for 1st , 2nd and Bronze medals for 3rd & 4th places will be awarded. If teams are tied at end of the 3 games , places determined by head to head results and then score difference excluding the lowest placed team

If your club wishes to enter a team or teams , your Club Official to reply by email to secretarybng.dublin@gaa.ie . Please don’t enter if you are of the opinion you will not have a team for SaturdayAugust 20th due to holidays etc. ( note the U/11 Camaint Finals also take place on that Saturday) . The closing date for receipt of entries is August 8th. If your Club wishes to a host a grouping of four teams on the day please let me know and it will be reflected. There is no U8 , U9 & U10 activity on the day and the games will take place on the morning of Saturday August 20th.
