Brogan: I have not retired

Alan Brogan has rubbished speculation that he has retired from intercounty action.

This morning the Dublin star tweeted: “Not sure where it came from but I have not retired, my family and teammates will be the first to know that.”

The St Oliver Plunkett’s/Eoghan Ruadh man was reacting to widespread speculation and ‘confirmed’ reports on some websites that he had decided to call time on his days in blue.

“Devastated today but well played to Donegal. Privileged to wear the blue jersey,” adds Alan.
