Lucan hit Pat’s for four

A good start was more than half the battle for Lucan as they blitzed Pat's with two goals inside the opening ten minutes in this Dublin SFC second round clash at O'Toole Park on Saturday afternoon.

Lucan's reward is a quarter-final contest against holders St Vincent's, who impressed in their victory over Ballymun Kickhams.

The impressive Brendan Gallagher and Declan O’Shaughnessy grabbed those early goals for Lucan and they never looked back as they cruised to an emphatic victory.

Things went from bad to worse for Pat's as they lost Leigh Dunne and Robbie Carson before they interval through injuries while Graham Kelly was sent off as they trailed by 2-6 to 0-5 at half-time. 
Brendan Gallagher hit his second goal in the 45th minute with Brian Collopy added a fourth just a minute later.
