Minor hurlers start well to defeat Antrim in Leinster MHL

Dublin minor hurlers bounced back from their opening day defeat to Laois when overcoming Antrim 2-17 to 0-9 in DCU Sportsgrounds last Saturday.

Early goals from Kevin Desmond (Ballyboden St Enda's) and Sean Lambe (St Vincent's) gave the young Dubs the ideal start.

The hosts continued to apply the pressure and centre-forward Cian Derwin had an afternoon to remember as he tallied 0-9 including frees.

Tom Keho and Jason Byrne were also on target while Brian Smith, Herkus Svigilinas and Sean Kinsella were others to impress.
