Plunkettt’s lift Leinster AHL4 title

St Oliver Plunkett’s/Eoghan Ruadh lifted the Leinster HL Division 4 title when overcoming Kildare’s Leixlip, 1-14 to 0-10, in Sunday’s final at O’Moore Park, Portlaoise.

Plunkett’s came from 0-8 to 0-5 in arrears at half-time to put in a strong second half, with wind advantage, to run out impressive winners.

The sole goal of the game arrived five minutes from time when the hard-working Diarmuid McGrath cracked to the Leixlip net.
