Tommy Dunne steps back from coaching role with senior hurlers

Tommy Dunne has decided to step back from this coaching role with Dublin's senior hurlers.
The Tipperary native is no longer able to commit to the cause owing to work and his studies.
"I'm unable to continue as coach with Dublin senior hurlers," says Tommy."I have returned to part-time education, studying for a Masters in Sports Performance at the University of Limerick.
"The course is two years part time and i just commenced it last month. I am also self employed with significant travel involved for work.
"Because of that I am unable to commit to huge time demands now required for top level team preparation.
"It was a really enjoyable experience working with the Dublin players,management and board over the last two to three years and I wish all involved every success in the future," he adds.
