Senior footballers ring changes for Roscommon clash

Our senior footballers face Roscommon today (Sun 5th Aug) in the final round of the All-Ireland SFC Quarter-Finals (Super 8s). Throw-in is at 3:30pm in Croke Park.

Having already defeated Tyrone and Donegal, and with Roscommon having lost their two  matches also, this game has no effect on the current standings in the group, so Dublin will come out at the head of the group regardless of the result.

In today's other final round, it's Tyrone v Donegal at 3:30pm in Ballybofey, with the winner of this coming second in the group. A draw would see Tyrone go through on points difference.

Mick Fitzsimons, Eric Lowndes, Darren Daly, Paul Flynn, Michael Darragh Macauley, Eoghan O'Gara, Cormac Costello, Kevin McManamon and Paddy Andrews have all been handed starting roles in changes from the starting team which defeated Tyrone last time out.

Dublin are already set to face Galway in the All-Ireland SFC semi-finals (Saturday, August 11, 5.0, Croke Park), after they finished second in their group following a defeat to Monaghan yesterday.
