St Maur’s confirmed their promotion from Division 3 of the Go-Ahead Ireland Dublin Adult Football League as they accounted for Cuala by 3-20 to 1-12 in Hyde Park on Saturday afternoon.
The likes of David Carthy and Mikey O’Reilly caused numerous headaches for the home defence while Padraic McGuinness, Harry Doyle, Matthew McHale, Chris Dent, Davy McGuinness and Kevin Nugent ensured a lengthy but happy return to Rush for the visitors.

This result allowed Erin’s Isle to make up ground and they did so in an emphatic manner, defeating Trinity Gaels by 8-18 to 1-11 in Drumnigh.
At the opposite end of the table, Thomas Davis handed themselves a much-needed lifeline when beating already relegated Ballymun Kickhams by 2-16 to 3-7 but it looks an uphill task for St Finian’s Swords following their 3-9 to 1-8 defeat to St Anne’s in Bohernabreena.
