Junior 1 Round 1 opening day Recap
Naomh Barrog 2-11, Cuala 1-3
Naomh Barrog kicked off their season in style with a strong home performance against Cuala in Kilbarrack. The visitors from the southside were looking to make a positive start but struggled to match the intensity of the hosts. Barrog took control early and never looked back, securing the win and all the points.
Naomh Jude 4-4, St Anne's 3-9
In a high-scoring thriller in Templeogue, it was the visitors St Anne’s who edged past Naomh Jude. Despite a strong showing from the home side, St Anne's proved more clinical in front of goal, snatching a hard-fought win and continuing their impressive rise through the leagues.
Raheny 0-4, 4-12 St Finian's
Raheny faced a tough test in their opener against a sharp and ambitious St Finian’s side. Coming off back-to-back promotions, St Finian’s were eager to prove they belong at this level—and they did just that with a commanding performance.
Despite Raheny’s hopes of laying down a marker in their first outing, it was the visitors who seized control early and never looked back. Ruthless in attack and composed throughout, St Finian’s cruised to a comprehensive victory, putting four goals past a stretched Raheny defence while limiting the home side to just four points.

Cuala 2-2, 4-13 Crumlin
Cuala were looking to bounce back after their opening day defeat, while Crumlin were kicking off their campaign hoping to start strong. It was Crumlin who came away with the spoils, securing an impressive 17-point victory. Their sharp shooting and solid teamwork consigned Cuala to a second straight loss.
Faughs Celtic 0-3, 4-7 Naomh Barrog
Naomh Barrog travelled southside in search of back-to-back wins, facing a Faughs Celtic side just getting their season underway. The visitors dominated from the off, running out comfortable winners in a confident display. That’s two from two for the northside outfit.
St. Finians 4-13, 1-2 Naomh Judes
St. Finians welcomed Naomh Judes to Rivervalley full of momentum after their opening day win. Judes, coming off a loss, were looking to kick-start their campaign. However, the Swords side proved too strong, easing to a dominant 20-point win and continuing their perfect start to the season.
St. Annes 9-22 0-3 Whitehall Colmcille
Whitehall Colmcille travelled to Bohernabreena for their season opener, aiming to hit the ground running. But it was a day to forget for the visitors, as St. Annes put on a scoring clinic. With a stunning 9 goals and 22 points, Annes made a huge statement, picking up their second win in emphatic fashion.

Cuala 4-10, 1-3 Faughs Celtic
Faughs Celtic made the trip to Cuala with both sides searching for their first win of the season after suffering defeats in their previous games. It was Cuala who ended their losing run, securing their first points of the campaign and leaving Faughs Celtic still winless.
Crumlin 6-18, 0-3 Raheny
Raheny travelled across the Liffey to face Crumlin, looking to bounce back from an opening day defeat after having a bye last week. Crumlin, aiming to make it back-to-back wins and push towards the top of the table, delivered a dominant performance to take the victory in style.
Whitehall Colmcille 0-2, 5-13 St Finians
Whitehall hosted a high-flying St Finians side in search of their first win, but it was always going to be a tough challenge against a team eyeing three wins from three. The Swords outfit lived up to their form, taking the points with a comprehensive away win.

This was always going to be an intriguing clash, with both Naomh Barrog and St Annes aiming to make it three wins in a row. The match didn’t disappoint—six goals were scored in an exciting battle. In the end, St Annes came out on top with a six-point victory to continue their perfect start.

Junior 2 Round 1 Opening weekend
Setanta 5-08, Erin's Isle 1-03
In a repeat of the 2023 Junior 3 Championship final, Setanta welcomed local rivals Erin’s Isle to Ballymun. Recently promoted and eager to show they belong at this level, Setanta came out firing in what promised to be a fierce and exciting encounter—and it didn’t disappoint. With six goals lighting up the scoreboard, Setanta secured an emphatic opening-day win. Erin’s Isle will surely be eyeing revenge when the two sides meet again in May.
Kilmacud Crokes 3-11, Ballyboden St. Enda's 1-07
In a classic southside showdown, Kilmacud Crokes hosted Ballyboden St. Enda’s, with both teams aiming to lay down a marker for the season ahead. It was Kilmacud who came out on top with an impressive and composed performance, claiming a strong home victory to kickstart their campaign.

Another repeat of last year’s Junior 3 Championship final saw youthful Clontarf travel to Longmeadow to take on a St. Brendan’s side. Both teams were eager to start their season with a win, but Clontarf proved too strong on the day, delivering a dominant performance to claim the points and a comfortable victory.

Erin Isle 2-8, 0-5 St Brendans
Erin Isle bounced back from their opening day defeat with a strong home performance against St Brendans. The Finglas side controlled the game from early on, notching two goals to seal a comfortable win. For St Brendans, it's back to the drawing board after suffering their second defeat in a row.
Kilmacud Crokes 1-10, 5-9 Clontarf
Clontarf made a real statement of intent with a dominant performance on the southside, hammering five goals past Kilmacud Crokes. The northsides made it two wins from two with an impressive attacking display, putting themselves firmly in early contention.
Ballyboden St Endas 0-8, 5-9 Setanta
Setanta continue to shine with another emphatic win, this time away to Ballyboden. Their second five-goal haul in as many games shows they mean business and are well in the hunt for back-to-back promotions. Ballyboden, on the other hand, now face an uphill battle after a second successive defeat.

Erin's Isle take the win, while Kilmacud will be looking to bounce back next week and avoid a third defeat in a row.
Clontarf 5-5 vs 1-4 Ballyboden St Enda's
Ballyboden made the trip to St Anne's to face Clontarf, still searching for their first win after back-to-back defeats. But they ran into a goal-hungry Clontarf side looking to make it 3 wins in a row — and they did just that. It's another tough loss for Ballyboden, who remain winless after three rounds.
