AIB Leinster Senior Club Championship Semi Final

Kilmacud Crokes vs Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels
We have yet another Dublin versus Meath encounter to look forward to this coming Sunday when reigning Leinster champions Kilmacud Crokes welcome Meath champions Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels to Stillorgan.
In 2024, Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels fell at the provincial semi-final hurdle to Eadestown of Kildare who in turn where defeated by Kilmacud Crokes in the Leinster senior final as the Dublin champions claimed their third provincial title in a row.
Crokes come into Sunday’s contest with a preliminary round victory over Longford Slashers followed by a quarter final win over Portlaoise. While Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels enjoyed a comfortable win in their quarter final outing versus Ballinamere Durrow.
Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels claimed their third Meath senior title in a row back on the 3rs of October last when they defeated St. Peter's Dunboyne by a score of 4-11 to 2-08. They have a blend of experience and youth within their squad and no doubt will relish the challenge presented by Kilmacud Crokes.
On the Inter County scene Dunshaughlin duo Karla Kealy and Niamh Gallogly both began the 2025 TG4 All Ireland senior final versus Dublin in August while team captain Sadhbh O’Muirí and Niamh McEntee where named on the Meath bench. Crokes are a settled, experienced outfit who will provide a stern challenge for the Meath champions especially in front of their home supporters.
The question remains. Can Dunshaughlin Royal Gaels cause a major upset or will Kilmacud Crokes march on to their fourth provincial final in a row.
Experienced match official Jonathan Murphy will get proceedings under way at Páirc de Burca at 2pm. Tickets for this much anticipated semi final remain on sale from www.universe.com
