Following last night’s CCC1 County Delegate meeting , I attach the CCC1 confirmed grading for the age grades under 8 to under 12 in both hurling and football (1,870 teams) – no further changes will be accepted.
Clubs are now locked into the groupings until the end of June for all U8 to U11 Divisions. CCC1 will revisit the groupings for these +1,600 teams during the month of July to allow changes for the post summer programme.
At the U12 age grade following the completion of the 5 grading games , CCC1 will regrade all 245 single teams into 8 team Divisions for the commencement of approx.31 League competitions.
I hope to issue advance fixtures for the under 11 & under 12 competitions by Tuesday 3rd February.
This Friday we will issue U12 Football fixtures for Saturday 7th February along with CCC1 regulations for the 2026 season, but they will be in line with last year as discussed at last night’s meeting.
