Change to throw-in time for Leinster MFC semi-final

Change to throw-in time for Leinster MFC semi-final

Sat, 15th June 2019

There has been a change in the time of next Saturday's (June 22) Electric Ireland Leinster MFC semi-final between Dublin and hosts Westmeath in Cusack Park, Mullingar.

The game will now throw-in at 3.45 and not 1.0 as originally scheduled.

The game will now provide the curtain-raiser to the All-Ireland SFC qualifier between Westmeath and Limerick (6.0).

The other provincial semi-final takes place on Friday night when Laois host Kildare in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise (8.0).

On the home and away relationship for knockout games Dublin enjoyed home advantage when the counties met in the 2011 Leinster MFC so Westmeath are granted home advantage for next weekend's clash.

Dublin defeated Meath in their opening game, during the Group 2 phase, (4-10 to 2-10) in Parnell Park and following that win up with away victories over Wexford (3-12 to 1-10) and Offaly (2-13 to 0-13) in their group before overcoming Wicklow (0-20 to 1-9) in their quarter-final in Aughrim.
