FODHC Agus Cnmb
Friends of Dublin Hurling & Camogie has done amazing work promoting Dublin hurling and camogie since its foundation in 2001. The recent addition of camogie to its official logo is just confirmation of their on-going commitment to the game. Since last year, FODHC has partnered with Cumann na mBunscol in two of our most successful events. Our annual Poc Fada event will take place again this year on June 5th in Na Fianna while the GAA Museum Interactive challenge was held recently in the museum. This year’s initiative was dedicated exclusively to camogie to celebrate Dublin camogie’s 120th year.
The award in 2025 - Gradam Kay Ryder - honours one of the greatest-ever camogie players. Kay won 10 All-Ireland senior camogie medals with Dublin. She wears them on two bracelets and the children were fascinated to meet such a great lady and to hear her stories. At the event, Dublin camogie was represented by Ella Nic an tSionnaigh while Máire Ní Scolaí was there for FODHC.
