Data Protection & GDPR

On Friday 25th May, new EU legislation comes into effect regarding data protection & the collection of personal information. These General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) are being implemented to grant individuals greater privacy and control over their personal information, and places the responsibility on the person/organisation/entity that collects a person’s information (Data Controller) to comply with the legislation and to demonstrate compliance.
