Dublin Camogie are set to ignite their Leinster Championship campaign this weekend with a blockbuster clash against Offaly in the Senior Camogie Championship.

Twelve months on from an opening round that captured headlines nationwide with the skort/short debate, the spotlight once again falls on this fixture, only this time, it’s all about the action on the pitch.

In what promises to be a standout occasion, supporters will be treated to a unique double-header in O’Connor Park, Tullamore.

Dublin’s camogie team will lead the charge before the senior hurlers take on Offaly in their own Leinster Championship battle (see teamsheet below)

A throw-in time of 4pm sets the stage for a massive afternoon of inter-county action, made possible through the collaboration of both Leinster County Boards.

Bill McCormack and his management team have named a side showing strong continuity from last weekend’s Division 1B League Final, as Dublin look to build momentum heading into championship action.

Despite a number of injury setbacks, the squad remains determined and ready to rise to the challenge.

There’s been little time to dwell on the narrow defeat to Clare in the league final—focus has quickly shifted, and Dublin now have their sights firmly set on making a statement in Leinster.

Championship. Rivalry. Double-header. It’s all set for a huge day in Tullamore.
