Dublin GAA Allianz League Fixtures 2026

Dublin GAA Allianz League Fixtures 2026
By Conor MartinTue, 9 December 2025

With the new inter-county season fast approaching, Dublin’s 2026 Allianz League fixtures have been confirmed.

FOOTBALL:

2025 was a year of transition for Dublin on and off the pitch. Now, under new boss Ger Brennan, the Dubs will be eager to build early momentum in 2026.

Dublin open their 2026 Division 1 league campaign at Croke Park against the 2025 All-Ireland finalists Donegal on Saturday, 24th January, with a 5pm throw-in. Donegal edged the Dubs in Ballybofey last season, so Dublin will be eager to flip the script this time around at GAA headquarters.

Round 2 sees Dublin return to Castlebar to face Mayo on Sunday, 1st February at 1:30pm.

Dublin beat Mayo in the opening game of the 2025 league and will hope to repeat the feat this time around. Although they know the 2025 beaten league finalists won’t be easily toppled in their own backyard.

Valentine’s Day brings the next test, as 2025 Division 2 champions Monaghan arrive under the lights at Croke Park. Dublin will be keen to avoid any heartbreak in this mid-February clash.

Brennan’s men then renew rivalries with Kerry at Croke Park in what should be a Saturday night treat. Dublin pulled off a dramatic comeback win in Tralee during the 2025 league, and both the panel and supporters will relish another crack at the reigning league, Munster and All-Ireland champions.

March kicks off with a trip to newly promoted Roscommon before Dublin welcome Armagh to Croke Park. The Orchard County got the better of the boys in blue in both the league and Championship in 2025, so a win here would be a big boost as Dublin aim to finish the league strongly.

Brennan’s Dublin wrap up their league campaign on Sunday, 22nd March, taking on Galway in Salthill at 3:30pm. The Dubs beat the Tribesmen in both the league and All-Ireland in 2025, with their Championship win coming in a terrific contest in Salthill, as Tom Lahiff scored the winner with the last kick of the game.

If Dublin finish in the top two after the seven group games, they’ll advance to the Division 1 final on the weekend of 28/29th March, with the winner being crowned league champions.

HURLING:

Dublin’s Senior hurlers now have their 2026 Allianz Hurling League Division 1B fixtures set and they’re ready to roll.

Fresh off a big 2025, Dublin will look to turn that championship spark into early-season fire as they take on a fiercely competitive division early next year.

Dublin’s hurlers throw-in their 2026 league campaign with a tough opener away to Clare, who were relegated from Division 1A last year, on Sunday, 25th January.

It’s the first big test for Niall Ó Ceallacháin’s side against a talented Banner outfit eager to bounce back from a disappointing 2025.

Next up is a Leinster derby under the lights at Parnell Park, as Dublin host Kildare on Saturday, 31st January. The Lilywhites had a superb 2025, earning promotion to Division 1B and lifting the Joe McDonagh Cup - meaning the teams will also cross paths later in the year during the Leinster Championship.

After a break, Dublin return to action against another side relegated from Division 1B, Wexford, at Croke Park on Saturday, 21st February (5pm). This games forms part of a double header with our Senior Footballers' game against Kerry (7pm).

Dublin edged the Yellowbellies by four in last year’s thrilling provincial clash.

March opens with a trip to face Antrim in Dunloy on 1st March (2pm). The Dubs enjoyed two wins over the Saffrons in 2025, so will be looking to continue that good run in 2026.

A week later, Dublin will welcome the 2025 Division 2 champions, Down, to Parnell Park for a 5pm throw-in, before wrapping up the campaign away to Carlow on the 21st March at 5pm, a side they beat by nine in last year’s league.

Match tickets will be available for the games in the New Year.
