Dublin GAA and Gourmet Food Parlour Extend Partnership

Dublin GAA has today confirmed an extension to its partnership with Gourmet Food Parlour that sees the Dublin-based restaurant group continue as Official Catering Supplier to the county’s senior teams.

The three-year deal will see Gourmet Food Parlour working in collaboration with the nutritionists of the senior inter-county teams to deliver a best-in-class and nutritious offering across the season to all four squads.

The new arrangement will also cover meetings and formal events hosted by Dublin GAA in Parnell Park and other locations around the city and will include team access to the Gourmet Food Parlour kitchens for education and demonstration purposes. 

Speaking at this morning’s announcement at the Gourmet Food Parlour restaurant in Santry, Marcus Ó Buachalla, Chief Commercial Officer with Dublin GAA said, “It is great to be able to announce this extension and especially with a local Dublin-based business employing over 320 people in our communities. 

“For over 20 years Lorraine and the team in Gourmet Food Parlour have been building something special and Dublin GAA and our teams, have benefitted from that body of work and expertise. 

“Having Ciara Quinn as our dedicated account manager, working with our nutritionists, is another key element for us. 

“While the relationship is already strong with the team in Gourmet Food Parlour, being able to evolve and grow together not only year after year, but also in-season, is crucial for the players’ nutritional needs but also their enjoyment of the food.”

Since its establishment in 2006, Gourmet Food Parlour, through its locations in Dublin, Meath and Galway, has become synonymous with high quality food and service and a celebration of local and fresh produce.
