Dublin GAA Juvenile update Thursday 30th October
By Damian MurphyThu, 30 October 2025

A Rúnaí, a chara,

I attach upcoming juvenile fixtures:

All U14 games are now at Knockout stage in both codes.

There is extra time in all Knock-out, Play Off and Final games. Extra time will be two periods of ten minutes as per rule. If teams still level, two further periods of five minutes will be played. If still no winner, a Replay will take place.

For all matches unlimited substitutions may be made.

U14 teams must adhere to panels submitted by 25th August

U16 Championship / Shield Games

For all U16 knockout games for both Championship & Shield fixtures.

There will be extra time in all knockout games ( quarter-finals & semi-finals (as per T.O. 2025). Extra time will be two periods of ten minutes as per rule.

If still no winner, Winner on the Day regulations will apply

Only five substitutes in total may be made.

All competitions are 15 a-side, but where necessary a minimum of 13 aside can be played. This regulation applies to all grades of Championship and Shield Competitions.

In these circumstances the team with more than 13 players can make seven subs

Upcoming Meetings:

TONIGHT CCC1 (u8 to u12)

A CCC1 County Delegates meeting will take place in Parnell Park on Thursday 30th October at 7.30pm.

The committee seeks feedback on the 2025 season and a discussion on the upcoming 2026 season.

CCC2 (u13 to u16)

Please note a CCC2 County Delegates meeting will take place in Parnell Park on Tuesday 4th November at 7.30pm.

This is an opportunity to review the YTD CCC2 season and discuss the format of the 2026 CCC2 season.

The most up to date status for all games this weekend  ( especially the assigned referee)  is per the website viewable at https://www.dublingaa.ie/juvenile/fixtures

Medals will be presented to all winners & runners up in all U12 to U16 competitive leagues.

These medals will be available for collection at the end of November from Parnell Park.

Re: U12 Leagues

Between Hurling & Football we have Thirty (30) U12 Leagues.

There are no Cups presented for these Leagues.

Medals will be awarded to those teams who finish 1st & 2nd  .. there will no play offs if teams are level.

So, if 2 teams tied for 1st place , we will supply two sets of medals .. no 2nd place medals given.

If 3 teams tied for 1st place .. three sets supplied

If two teams tied for 2nd place .. two sets of runners’ medals will be supplied.

Yours in Sport,
Damian
