Dublin GAA Juvenile update Tuesday 17th February

Dublin GAA Juvenile update Tuesday 17th February
By Damian MurphyTue, 17 February 2026

A quick update from CCC1 and CCC2 as the 2026 season gets underway.

Despite the challenging weather, an incredible number of games have been played over the last two weekends. The season is now fully up and running.

We have created 213 competitions for 2,555 teams across Under 8 to Under 16, in both hurling and football.

A Request:

Please ensure that your teams and mentors fully understand how both CCCs operate. While the regulations are available to all, the most effective approach is simply to speak with those teams and mentors who are a year ahead of you—they can offer invaluable practical guidance.

Useful Contacts:

I would again direct you to the website for all 2026 contact details, including:

  • Opposition mentors

  • Club officers

  • Go Games Club Referee Coordinators

  • CCC2 referees

Competitive games not played:

U12 grading games

  • will not be rescheduled by CCC1

  • CCC1 will accept Football results up to Sunday 19th April & Hurling results up to Sunday 26th April

U13 grading games

  • will not be rescheduled by CCC2

  • CCC2 will accept Football results up to Thursday 16th April and Hurling results up to Thursday 30th April

U14 Phase One games

  • games will be scheduled for Saturday 14th March

  • mid-week dates in April will also be used

U15 Football Feile

  • games will be fixed for Sunday 15th March

  • CCC2 will give further update after games on 1st March

U16 Leagues

  • games not played will be scheduled for June

A few CCC2 reminders:

  1. Team Sheets – Teams/clubs must use the GAA Foireann system and format to produce the Team Sheets. Team sheets are required for all CCC2 games.

  2. It is basic courtesy that the home team contacts the assigned referee ( can’t believe I have to state that)

  3. All CCC2 fixtures ( with great difficulty ) have referees assigned to them when official fixtures are issued by me.

  4. The fact no referee is no longer appearing on the website is  because the original referee has declined the game and CCC2 is seeking a replacement.

  5. Please note you still need to email CCC2 Ref Admin ccc2refadmin@dublingaa.ie to say a game is not proceeding and to stop a search for a replacement

Wishing all teams a successful and enjoyable season ahead.
