Dublin GAA website shortlisted for Cultural Driver Award at Spider Awards

The Dublin GAA website- www.dublingaa.ie- has been shortlisted for the Cultural Driver Award in the 2026 Spider Awards.

The new Dublin GAA website, www.dublingaa.ie, (developed by Together Digital) was launched last year as the new home to Dublin GAA, Dublin LGFA and Dublin Camogie, with all three organisations coming together under one online roof to cover all facets of Gaelic Games in the county.

The Spider awards is an annual awards ceremony, which is Ireland’s benchmark for digital excellence.

www.dublingaa.ie has been nominated for this award, having shown Dublin GAA’s long-standing commitment to parity across all codes and to publicly champion an equal, shared identity for men’s football, ladies football, hurling and camogie teams.

While national unification efforts continue, Dublin GAA wanted to take meaningful action now - strengthening inclusivity, visibility and cultural cohesion across its sporting community.

The project sought to shift perceptions and modernise how supporters experience all codes.

Since launch, the unified website has reshaped how supporters engage with Dublin GAA.

Cross-code traffic has increased significantly, with users now moving naturally between content for each code. Sponsors have highlighted the strengthened consistency in digital presentation across all teams, while county officials have noted improved collaboration and reduced duplication of effort across the three boards.

The unified website serves a broad community that spans players, parents, coaches, volunteers and lifelong supporters across every demographic.

Younger supporters now experience all codes through a single identity, reinforcing equality as the cultural norm.

The platform also supports clubs across every corner of Dublin, reflecting the county’s unique scale and diversity.

The Spider Awards take place on March 13th at the Mansion House.
