Dublin LGFA Annual Convention 2025.
Update – Monday Dec 8th 2025.
The annual convention of Dublin LGFA took place on Saturday last (Dec 6th) and was well attended with the majority of clubs represented at the meeting. There was engaging and positive debate throughout the course of the meeting.
Detailed reports were produced to delegates including the Mary O’Connor Secretary comprehensive report for the year and a report on finances presented by county Treasurer, Deborah Heavey.

Registrar report – Deirdre Colgan, Chairperson of development committee report – Ciarán Barry, Children’s Officer report – Bernice Jones Moore, PRO report – Linda Walsh, CODA report Declan Patton / Darren Martin, Injury Fund report – Patricia Monahan, Fixtures report – Stephen Harbron / Niall Kelly.
The following were elected to serve on the Dublin LGFA Executive Committee for 2026:
Chairperson – Joe Keane (Clann Mhuire), Vice Chairperson – Declan Patton (St Brigids), Secretary – Mary O’Connor (St Brigids), Treasurer – Deborah Heavey (Ballyboden St Endas), Assistant Treasurer – Fionnuala Fleming (Man O War), Registrar – Deirdre Colgan (St Margarets), PRO – Linda Walsh (Thomas Davis), Assistant PRO – Linda Harbron (St Annes), Chairperson of County Fixtures committee – John Walsh (Thomas Davis).
Elected to represent Dublin at Leinster and Central Council meetings respectively were – David McCabe (Round Tower Clondalkin), Tony Lennon (Ballyboden St Endas), Bernard Egan (Ballinteer St Johns) and Fintan Keeling (Fingallians).
We wish to acknowledge the dedication and commitment of outgoing Vice Chairperson Alan Egan. Having held various roles within the association over an elven year period, Alan took the decision not to seek re-election at the AGM. All in Dublin LGFA wish Alan the very best of luck with all his future endeavours.
