Earlier today (Sunday May 25th) Galway were retained their TG4 Connacht SFC crown for the 19th time after successfully retaining their title in Castlebar. Galway winning by 0-16 to Mayo’s 1-04. Meanwhile in Mallow Kerry had to dig deep in order to hold onto their Munster title as Waterford really tested the mettle of the reigning All Ireland champions. With two minutes to go Kerry took the lead when Mary O’Connell pounced on a short Waterford kickout to score her sides second goal to make it Kerry 2-06 Waterford 0-10.

With the Munster and Connacht champions now known the make-up of the four groups for the TG4 Senior All Ireland series was complete.

Group 1: Galway, Donegal, Tipperary

Group 2: Kerry, Mayo, Cork

Group 3: Armagh, Meath, Kildare

Group 4: Dublin, Waterford, Leitrim

Dublin will face 2024 TG4 Intermediate All Ireland Champions Leitrim in the All Ireland series. Credit Sportsfile

Round 1 group fixtures will take place on the 7/8th of June. Round 2 games will be played on the June 14th and the final third round contests will be fixed for the 21st of June.

Two teams from each group will advance onto the quarter finals. Note: a draw will take place following the conclusion of the group stages to determine the pairings for the senior quarter finals.

Home advantage for the quarterfinals will be granted to the team that finishes on top of their respective groups. The TG4 All Ireland quarter final fixtures will be played on the weekend of the 5/6th of July.

All Ireland semi-finals are down for decision on the 19th of July with the 2025 All Ireland final taking place in Croke Park on Sunday August 3rd.

All round robin group fixtures, dates, venues and times along with ticket information will be released by the LGFA / Croke Park in due course.
