Dubs Chairperson - calling on fans to make the trip to Tullamore this Saturday

Dublin LGFA Chairperson Joe Keane has called upon all Dubs football fans to show their full support behind the capitals women’s senior team ahead of this Saturday’s TG4 All Ireland semi-final clash with Galway in Tullamore.

“As the last Dublin senior team standing at this stage of the championship, I would really urge all football fans to travel in big numbers to Tullamore this Saturday and to give their full support to our girls in blue” - said the Clann Mhuire club man.

Paul Casey and Derek Murray’s chargers are facing a formidable Galway side who are many pundits favourites to bring the Brendan Martin Cup west of the shannon.

This season Galway have lifted the Lidl division 2 NFL title, retained their Connacht crown have eased through the All-Ireland group stages with comfortable wins over Donegal and Tipperary while overcoming a strong Waterford outfit in the quarter finals.

Nicola Ward, Louise Ward, Olivia Divilly and Eva Noone from three times AIB All Ireland champions Kilkerrin Clonberne are all central figures for the Tribeswomen as they aim to make it back-to-back All Ireland final appearances.

Glenisk O’Connor Park is hosting both TG4 All Ireland senior semi-finals this Saturday. Reigning champions Kerry take on Meath at 5.15pm with Galway and Dublin locking horns at 7.30pm.

Admission rates: Adult €20, Students / Senior Citizens €10, Under 18’s €5, children U12 are FREE of charge and do not require a ticket.
