Friends Of Dublin Hurling & Camogie Update- March 2026
Mon, 2 March 2026

Friends of Dublin Hurling & Camogie's Club of the month award goes to one of the oldest clubs in Dublin and possibly throughout the country as they were founded in 1888, only 4 years after the foundation of Cumann Lúthchleas Gael- Wild Geese.

They received this accolade in part for the work they are doing in regards to juvenile hurling and camogie.

However, they were also the recipients of the Glór na nÓg Award for Dublin and had their day in the sun when Uachtarán Jarlath Burns presented them with their Award in Páirc an Chrócaigh at the inaugural Club Summit.

FODHC Hurler and Camogie players of the month of March goes to two players from the same club for the first time ever, Cody Graham and Emily Adderley of Ballinteer St. Johns.

Both players won U21 Championships in 2025 and had their presentations recently.

The FODHC AGM will go ahead on Wednesday March 25th in Parnell Pk at 7.30pm.

We are hoping to see a big representation of Dublin clubs on the night and especially those clubs who have received the accolade of club of the month since April last year.

For everybody who attends on the night their name will go into a raffle for a bag of sliotars for their club/school.

If the person is not a club member they may nominate a club/school.

Light refreshments will be served as well.
