Dublin football manager, Jim Gavin, is optimistic that defender Ger Brennan can return to action mid-summer following his recent Achilles tendon surgery.
“He had an operation recently,” says Jim.
“It’s a procedure to rectify his Achilles heel and it’s really, really successful.
“So hopefully we’ll see Ger back in the back end of June/early July. It’s been a very positive two weeks for him.
“Please God, if we’re still involved, he’ll partake in July.”
