Last season’s senior finalists Kilmacud Crokes and St Sylvesters get their respective championship campaigns underway tonight (Aug 27th) when they join the senior competition at the second-round stage.
Reigning champion Kilmacud Crokes travel to Glasnevin to take on a Na Fianna side who drew with Cuala last week. While 2024 runners up, St Sylvesters make the trip to Kiltipper Road for their opening round game with Thomas Davis. Last week the Tallaght girls enjoyed a 3-08 to 1-10 victory over an O’Dwyers outfit who were making their championship debut at senior level.
Ballyboden St Endas enjoyed a 2-16 to 1-07 victory over Fingallians last week and will be aiming to continue their winning streak when they welcome O’Dwyers to the Firhouse Road. Castleknock and Cuala will meet at Somerton with the home team aiming to get their campaign back on track following their narrow defeat to Clontarf in round one.
