Hectic pace continues for Dublin GAA teams

Mon, 19th July 2021

The games are coming at great speed for Dublin GAA teams - this week is another busy one.

On Tuesday night in Parnell Park the U20 hurlers face Offaly (7.30) in their Leinster semi-final.

Offaly beat Kildare in their quarter-final last week - a Lilywhite team that themselves had overcome Wexford in their quarter-final.

For Dublin, who have a good number of last year's panel who only recently lost the rescheduled (2020) All-Ireland final to Cork eligible again, it will be their first outing.

On Wednesday the minor hurlers travel to Chadwicks Wexford Park to face Wexford in their Leinster MHC semi-final (7.30).

Dublin defeated Meath in their provincial quarter-final while Wexford overcame Kildare.

Dublin's under-20 footballers have progressed to Thursday night's Leinster U20FC final against Offaly in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise (7.30).

On Saturday (12.0) the minor footballers encounter Kildare in their Leinster MFC semi-final in Parnell Park.

Over the weekend the Dublin senior and intermediate camogie teams are in action, the senior team lost to Cork 2-19 to 0-12 in Páirc Uí Rinn in their opening round contest.

Meanwhile, in the gaa.ie Team of the Week selections Dublin footballers Davy Byrne, James McCarthy and Ciarán Kilkenny were named while Alan Nolan was selected on the hurling team.
