INSPIRED BY HISTORY!

This Sunday Dublin Ladies will take on Meath in the 2025 TG4 Leinster SFC final at Croke Park, 14:00pm. Live on TG4 YouTube.

The Dubs will wear a special edition commemorative jersey to mark the 40th anniversary of the foundation of Cumann Peil Gael na mBan Átha Cliath - Dublin LGFA.

The jersey was designed exclusively for Dublin LGFA by O’Neills and is a throwback to the style of jersey worn by our 1989 Junior All Ireland winning team.

All seventy-four Dublin LGFA affiliated clubs are listed on the back of this traditional sky-blue jersey.

The right sleeve features a special emblem designed by Ed Moynihan which acknowledges 40 years of Dublin LGFA. This logo also includes six stars, one for each senior All Ireland won by Dublin.

The old Dublin GAA crest, with the three castles, is imprinted on the left sleeve, a subtle nod back to 1985, the year of our foundation.

Dublin LGFA would like to thank Jason Delany (Staycity), Jennifer Bruen, Rebecca Clarke, Robert Forde (O’Neills), Finbarr O’Mahony (Dublin GAA) and Tomás Quinn (Formerly of Dublin GAA) for their assistance with this project.

Dublin captain Carla Rowe and vice-captain Leah Caffrey chatted to Maurice Grehan earlier today about their Leinster final showdown with Meath and described to him what it will mean to the players to run out in Croke Park this Sunday wearing a jersey inspired by history.

Tickets for Sunday’s Croke Park showdown with the Royals remain on sale from Ticketmaster and usual GAA ticket outlets.
