Dublin champions in Leinster semi-final action this weekend.

Another busy weekend of AIB Provincial club championship action to look forward too with two Dublin champions seeking to book their place in their respective Leinster finals.

On Saturday (October 31st) Dublin Junior champions St Vincent’s (pictured above) will hit the road for a second week in a row as they travel to Kildare to take on Milltown in their provincial semi-final. The action will get underway at 2pm at Milltown GAA club.

St Vincent's had a great quarter final win over Colmcilles of Longford despite having to contend with difficult weather conditions. In the end, Robbie Lambe’s side chalked up a 1-16 to 2-03 victory. The winners of this contest will play either Dundalk Gaels (Louth) or Ratoath (Meath) in the provincial Junior final.

Kilmacud Crokes remain on course for a fifth straight AIB Leinster senior club championship crown. The Dublin champions had a convincing quarter final win over Carlow opponents Old Leighlin at Pairc de Burca last Sunday emerging victorious on the score line of 2-18 to 0-4.

They now face Louth champions St Patrick's in the semi-final this coming Sunday November 1st, at 2pm in Pairc de Burca. Tickets on sale via www.universe.com

Last weekend, Kate Flood hit 0-6 and Maggie Holland hit a late two pointer for the Louth champions, Naomh Padraig, as they defeated Eadestown of Kildare to set up a semi-final clash with Kilmacud Crokes. In the second AIB Leinster senior semi-final Tinahely of Wicklow will face Longford Slashers.

Wishing both Kilmacud Crokes and St Vincent’s the very best of luck this weekend as they continue to fly the flag high for the capital.
