LGFA - Player Development Programme 2026
By Patricia MonahanFri, 20 February 2026

Dublin Player Development Programme 2026:

Dublin LGFA would welcome expressions of interest from suitably experienced, enthusiastic, and qualified people to assist with the organisation of our Player Development Programmes at U13, U15 and U17 grades in 2026 in line with LGFA National policy.

The PDPs are organised over a 6–8-week period culminating in a regional blitz.

The level of time / commitment required is not that of a competitive Inter County squad and will be organised in tandem with our underage club football fixtures schedule.

Regional blitzes will take place outside of the Dublin club season (summer months).

Individuals are welcome to volunteer to work in roles such as lead mentor, coaching, and team administrators.

In addition, we would also welcome people studying / working in the areas of strength and conditioning, statistics, nutrition and sports psychology to come on board. This would be an ideal opportunity to gain valuable field experience in your respective areas of interest. We also require candidates for the key role of female liaison officer.

Applicants must have proven interest, experience in the role they are applying for, a suitable (coaching) qualification in that area, a knowledge of the rules of LGFA and currently hold valid Garda vetting and safeguarding certificates.

Dublin LGFA would especially like to welcome former female Inter County players who are now embarking on their coaching pathways to come on board to share their knowledge and experience to a new generation of players.

Interested parties are requested to complete a form via the link below on or before 5pm on Friday the 27th of February 2026.
