Meath vs Dublin

St Patricks GFC – Stamullen Co Meath (Live www.tg4.ie)

Dublin travel the short distance to Stamullen this bank holiday Monday for their second round NFL meeting with old rivals Meath. Both teams will be aiming to return to winning ways having suffered opening round league defeats last weekend. Galway beat Meath by eight points while Kerry had two goals to spare over the Dubs.

Despite the loss to the Kingdom, Dublin Co Manager Paul Casey was pleased with his sides performance, noting that ten players had made their senior county debut.

“It was really, really tough conditions there, but good to get the show on the road as they say and good to see so many new faces play for Dublin as well,” he said.

Dublin have made just one change to their starting fifteen from that which lined out against Kerry last Saturday. Sophie McIntyre comes into the forward line in place of Orla Keighran.

Match official, Shane Curley from Galway will take charge of this latest encounter between Dublin and Meath. Tickets remain on sale for the game via www.universe.com
