Derek Murray and Paul Casey have named their squad for this coming Saturday’s opening fixture versus reigning NFL champions, Kerry.

A number of retirements have taken place since the Dubs All Ireland victory over Meath back in August. Notable departures include that of 2025 TG4 Players Player of the Year award winner Hannah Tyrrell and her fellow forward Nicole Owens.

Both Murray and Casey have indicated that they will be taking an experimental approach to their team selections for the early rounds of the 2026 NFL as the look to introduce freshness into the squad while also aiming to add strength in depth to their overall panel. With several positions up for grabs a number of players have been handed a great opportunity to claim a regular berth on the starting team.

Ballinteer St Johns, Orlagh Nolan will captain the side versus Kerry this Saturday in the absence of regular team captain Carla Rowe. Experience official Kevin Phelan from Laois is the man in charge of this latest clash between Dublin and Kerry. He will get proceedings underway at 14:45pm, watch all the action live only on TG4.
