HOW THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS SHAPING UP!
Following on from their victory over Kildare in the TG4 Leinster Final Dublin will now turn their focus to the upcoming All-Ireland series and the defence of their All-Ireland crown.
Meath are the last side to achieve back-to-back All Ireland senior victories (2021 /2022) with Kerry claiming the title in 2024 with Dublin victorious in 2023 and again in 2025.
With two provincial finals down for decision this coming weekend the senior championship route to Croke Park on August 2nd is beginning to take shape.
This Sunday May 24th, Kerry will defend their Munster crown when they take on Waterford at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale, Limerick, 2pm. While up in the Derry Centre of Excellence, located at Owenbeg, reigning champions Armagh will play Tyrone in the Ulster decider, throw in time is also 2pm.
The TG4 senior championship consists of four groups of three teams. Two teams will qualify from each group and will move on into the quarter finals while the bottom placed team from each group will head into the relegation qualifiers.
