St Maur’s and Na Fianna will meet in the Dublin AFL Division 1 final following their respective semi-final victories on Sunday.

Maur’s trailed Ballymun by three points at the break, 0-7 to 0-4, but finished in a welter of energy to prevail 2-11 to 1-11 at Páirc Ciceam.

A Dean Rock penalty pushed the Mun six points clear early in the second-half but Maur’s responded with a goal from Kevin Watson, which was swiftly followed by another by Vinny Whelan as they booked their berth in the decider.

Na Fianna overcame St Brigid’s by 3-18 to 3-16 after extra-time in Russell Park with Conor McHugh leading the way for ‘Pillar’ Caffrey’s men.

The final between St Maur's and Na Fianna takes place this Friday night in Russell Park (St Brigid's GAA club) (7.30). (note change of venue)
