Dublin footballers might have retained the National League Division 1 title this year and be the reigning All-Ireland champions but defender Jack McCaffrey says there is room for improvement as the Dubs set out on the championship road this weekend.
"There is a lot of lessons to be learned from the National League. You know, we won it but we were very, very lucky to get to the final and there hasn't really been that consistency throughout our performances that we'd be looking for," says the Clontarf man ahead of Sunday's Leinster SFC quarter-final against Laois in Croke Park (4.0).
"So, we've an awful lot to work on heading up to the Laois game, and hopefully we'll learn our lessons and push on."
