Minor footballers to face Kildare in Navan

Dublin minor footballer will face Kildare in this year's Electric Ireland Leinster MFC final on Saturday, July 6 in Pairc Tailteann, Navan (2.0). Live on TG4 YouTube

The Dubs defeated Westmeath in their provincial semi-final last Saturday afternoon in TEG Cusack Park, Mullingar while Kildare overcame Laois the night before in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise.

Dublin showed good mettle to get the better of Westmeath as they had trailed by five points with less than 25 minutes to play.  Dublin v Westmeath

Dublin's last provincial success was in 2017 (when an U18 competition) while Kildare's came a year earlier. They last met in a Leinster MFC final in 2014 when Dublin prevailed 3-16 to 1-12.
