Dublin's minor hurlers face Antrim this Saturday in DCU Sportsgrounds (2.30) as they hope to record their first victory in Group A of the Leinster MHL.
Last Saturday, fielding an almost entirely U17 selection, Dublin lost to Wexford 1-17 to 0-12 in UCD.
With wind advantage the Slaneysiders held the upperhand in the opening half and led by ten points at the break.
Dublin, who are managed by former Dublin senior Johnny McGuirk (pictured), improved in the second half with five frees from Colin Currie and a brace of points from Aaron Coffey closing the deficit.
However, a 58th minute goal from Séamus Casey for Wexford ended Dublin's hopes of a great comeback.
