Na Fianna hit UCD for six

Na Fianna powered their way into the last-eight of this year's Dublin SFC when they had it all their own way against UCD in Thursday night's second round tie at O'Toole Park.

It could not have started any better for Pillar Caffrey's side when David Quinn scoring a first minute goal following great approach play by Eoin Murchan.

The St Mobhi Road men continued to apply the early pressure and they were rewarded with an eighth minute penalty that Aaron Byrne converted and by the interval Na Fianna were 11-points clear, 2-8 to 0-3, with the likes of Conor McHugh, Paddy Brady, Tomás Brady (pictured), and his Dublin team-mate Jonny Cooper all on target.

It only got worse for the students in the second half as Na Fianna cruised to their 26-point victory with goals from JJ Martin, Aaron Byrne and two from sub Eoghan Neville.
