Dublin and Kilkenny lock horns in Leinster once again this weekend, when Niall Ó Ceallacháin's side travel to UPMC Nowlan Park this Sunday in Round 4 of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship (throw-in 3pm).
Dublin have made a 100% start to their championship summer with wins over Offaly, Wexford and Antrim and another win this weekend, against a tough and experienced Kilkenny side, will increase Dublin’s chances of a top-two finish and a place in the Leinster final for the second year in a row.
Seán Currie has been on fire so far for the Dubs with 1-32 to his name from our three previous games. Alongside Currie, John Hetherton and brothers Brian and Ronan Hayes have picked up crucial scores for their county in this Leinster Championship.
Conor Donohoe and Conor Burke have been consistent in the heart of midfield, while at the back, Chris Crummey has demonstrated his quality- contributing at both ends of the pitch, as he excels in his role as captain.
Dublin were beaten in last year's provincial decider by Kilkenny. Still, this panel has plenty of talent and will know the size of the challenge Kilkenny offer, but they’ll be determined to help the Boys in Blue kick on and reach the Leinster final for the second year in a row.
