Following a lengthy break, the Dublin Adult Hurling Leagues resumed on Tuesday night with Naomh Barróg picking up their second win of their Division 1 campaign when edging Craobh Chiaráin by 1-15 to 0-17 in Páirc Barróg.
The hosts impressed through the efforts of half-backs Adam Rooney and Eoin Hart with seven Dean Flood frees keeping them in touch throughout.
Ciarán Gallagher, Séadhna Ryan and Daniel Moore all added two points apiece as the contest went right down to the wire with Dylan Duggan netting the pivotal goal in the 60th minute.
In Shanganagh Park, Cuala moved into the top half of the table following their 1-20 to 2-9 success against St Vincent’s.
Adam Sheeran, Diarmuid Ó Floinn and Stephen Roche delivered influential displays for the hosts, who took control of matters thanks to seven Liam Murphy points.
Cillian Sheanon (1-2) and Donal O’Shea (0-3) all enhanced the Cuala position as they eased home through further scores from Jamie Conroy, Conall O’Toole, Ó Floinn, Jack Twomey and Sean Moran.
Ballyboden St Enda’s are another team moving in the right direction as they overcame Kilmacud Crokes by 0-23 to 1-18 in Páirc de Búrca.
The visitors struggled for fluency in the first-half and were fortunate to trail by just four points at the break but they improved significantly upon the restart with eleven players contributing to their tally.
Darragh Ormsby top scored with five points, four of which coming from play, with the experienced Niall McMorrow (0-3), Timmy Hammersley (0-2), Niall Ryan (0-2) and Stephen O’Connor (0-1) adding to their lead.
Luke McDwyer also caught the eye from the bench with two points with Eoin Behan (0-2) and David Gleeson (0-3) ensuring their narrow success.
Boden remain two points behind league leaders Lucan Sarsfields, who completed their fifth successive win when beating St Brigid’s by 1-21 to 0-17 at the 12th Lock.

In AHL2, Raheny moved level at the top of the table with St Oliver Plunkett’s/Eoghan Ruadh as they beat their local rivals Clontarf by 3-11 to 0-15 in St Anne’s Park.
In what was a solid display throughout, Raheny scored goals at crucial times through Tom Geary, Cillian Ryan and Conor White to secure their five-point win.
Goals were also the deciding factor in Marley Park as Ballinteer St John’s cemented third spot in the table when overcoming Naomh Olaf by 3-14 to 0-11.
Cody Graham accounted for two of these and with Glenn Whelan returning to action with five points from play, the hosts remained on top thanks to strong displays from Niall O’Doherty in midfield and defenders Iain Ó hEithir and Tommy Dillon.
St John’s are one point behind a Plunkett’s side that lost their perfect record when falling to St Sylvester’s by 1-19 to 0-15 in Martin Savage Park.
The visitors played with the wind in the first-half with scores at regular intervals by Ciaran McLoughney and Tommy Costelloe building a 0-11 to 0-7 interval lead.
That duo continued to keep the away scoreboard ticking over as they shared twelve points over the hour and with Eamonn McLoughney, Sean Foley, Killian O’Flynn, Kevin O’Flynn, Niall McCarthy and Cian Cummings all chipping in with points, they landed a decisive blow through Sean Murphy’s goal ten minutes from time.
