Round-Up: PTSB Leagues AHL 3 & AHL 4
Thu, 11 June 2026

Round 8 in Division 3 of the PTSB Dublin Adult Hurling League took place on Tuesday night as Whitehall Colmcille maintained their promotion push with a comfortable 3-20 to 1-14 victory over St Vincent’s at Collins Avenue.

The hosts led by 1-10 to 0-6 at half-time with a goal from Eoghan O’Donnell augmented by the free-taking of Paddy Spellacy with Daniel Peel accounting for the bulk of the away scores.

Colmcille maintained their buffer after the break with Spellacy finishing with 1-8 while Jamie Raftery also impressed with a personal tally of 1-3.

That win leaves Whitehall a point behind league leaders Round Towers Clondalkin, who received a walkover from Kilmacud Crokes (2).

Cuala lie in joint second spot following their 2-23 to 2-17 win against Scoil Uí Chonaill on the Clontarf Road.

Justin Byrne plundered 1-2 early on to seize the initiative for the visitors and both Fionn Ó Muirí and Hugh Egan chipped in with a brace apiece to help build a 1-15 to 0-9 interval advantage.

The impeccable free-taking of Barry Cushen offered grounds of optimism to Scoil but Cuala added sufficient scores in the second-half through a goal by Joe McDonough and points by Colm Sheanon and Darragh Clancy.

Lucan Sarsfields remain in the shake-up as they bounced back from their defeat to Kilmacud Crokes (1) when defeating Setanta by 2-16 to 1-10 at the 12th Lock.

The foundation for their win lay at the back through the displays of Eoin O’Connor and Paddy Ryan while Mark Gormley, Cian McHugh and Colm Keenan were equally instrumental further up the field for Sarsfields.

Matters were far tighter in O’Toole Park as Naomh Fionnbarra cemented their mid-table position as they pipped Crumlin by 3-17 to 4-12.

The sides were deadlocked at 2-7 apiece at the interval but the visitors did enough to get over the line through 1-10 by Glen Dodrill, two Ruairí McGrath goals and strong performances from Owen Fogarty and Jack Gunnery.

In AHL4, O’Toole’s continue to impress towards the summit of the table as they overcame Kevins by 6-17 to 3-16 at Blunden Drive.

From Ciaran Sheehy in goal, who scored three long-range points, to the likes of Danny O’Loughlin, Cillian Shannon and wing-back Ciaran Kimmage, the Larriers held firm in defence in what was a tough, physical encounter.

Conn Rock was their scorer-in-chief with a personal tally of 3-5 and with Luke Fennelly, Graham Dinh and Mikey Farnham also raising green flags, the hosts made certain of their victory thanks to Scott Walker (0-4) and Ryan Rooney (0-3).

Na Fianna also enhanced their title prospects as they proved too strong for Good Counsel/Liffey Gaels, winning by 3-23 to 0-3.

Castleknock remain in third spot but they were pushed all the way before seeing off a determined Ballyboden St Enda’s by 1-17 to 1-15 in Páirc Carmel.

The hosts may be languishing at the bottom of the table but they impressed from the outset and were unfortunate to trail by four points at the break with Michael Ryan netting a crucial goal for the visitors.

Both Ben O’Neill and Eoghan Lyons kept matters tight at the back for Castleknock, who held on for victory thanks to two points apiece by Tom Lally and Jack Purcell.
