BALLYBODEN ST ENDA’S 3-21 BALLINTEER ST JOHN’S 0-18

Paul Ryan and Conal Keaney were the shooting stars for Ballyboden St Enda's as they cruised to victory over Ballinteer St John's in Friday night's Dublin SHC 'A' quarter-final in Parnell Park.

Ryan tallied 1-11 (0-4f, 0-1 '65') with the evergreen Keaney scoring 2-1 as the Firhouse Road outfit ran out 12-point victors having led 2-14 to 0-6 at the half-time interval.

Boden made a great start with points from Niall McMorrow and Paul Ryan before Keaney fired his first goal to the net inside four minutes.

St Enda’s were nine points clear before Danny McCarthy opened Ballinteer’s account in the tenth minute.

In first-half inury-time Ryan effectively put Boden out of his with their second goal to open up a 14-point lead by the break.

St John's battled hard in the second half and were rewarded with points from the likes of Glenn Whelan, Gavin Byrne and Tom Aherne

However, they were already too far adrift and the dismissal of Aodhan Clabby didn't aid their cause.

Ten minutes from time Keaney struck a brilliant second goal for the forward as his side emerged easy winners and into the semi-finals.
