SHC 'A wins for Craobh and Crumlin

Craobh Chiarain keep pace with Ballyboden St Enda's in the Dublin SHC 'A' Group 2 after defeating St Oliver Plunkett's/Eoghan Ruadh 1-16 to 0-15 in Finglas on Saturday.

The freetaking of Robbie McMahon was central to Craobh's victory while Francis Usanga scored the only goal of the game.

Boden are currently in top spot on scoring difference (+17) from Chiaráins (+9) with both Faughs and Plunkett's on zero league points at the moment.

Crumlin made it two it two wins from two starts on Friday night in O'Toole Park when they defeated St Jude's 1-18 to 0-13 in Group 4.

That win puts Crumlin in the driving seat for top spot with Jude's on two points and both St Brigid's and St Pat's of Palmerstown on one point.

Craig Gough got the only goal of the night in the tenth minute of the second half and he finished with an individual tally of 1-2.

Crumlin led at half-time by 0-10 to 0-6, and Jude’s were reduced to 14 men just before the interval when Fionn Ó Riain Broin was dismissed.

The freetaking of Adam McGreal kept Crumlin clear while Alex Quinn shot four points from play.
