The Dublin U20 football starting 15 to face Longford in Monday night's Leinster U20 round-robin opener against Longford away in Pearse Park (7.0) contains seven players who won Leinster MFC medals in 2017.
David O'Hanlon, Kieran Kennedy, Neil Matthews, Eoin O'Dea, Donal Ryan, James Madden and James Doran were all part of last year's provincial winning side who eventually bowed out at the All-Ireland semi-final stage to Derry.
Two of the starting 15 earned Championship experience last year with the Dublin U21 footballers who captured the All-Ireland title - Dan O'Brien and Seán Bugler.
Eleven of the starting 15 were in the Dublin minor football panel in 2016 who lost out to Meath in the Leinster Championship after winning the Leinster MFL - Nathan Nolan, Nathan Doran, Ciarán Smith, Donal Ryan, Eoghan Fitzpatrick, Cormac Howley, James Madden, Tom Keane, Dan O'Brien, James Doran and Seán Bugler.
This year is the inaugural year of the U20 grade, replacing the U21 football championship competition.
