Dublin under-20 footballers conclude their John Kerins Cup campaign when they face Galway in Ballinasloe this Saturday (1.0).
The Dubs have three games played to date as they continue their preparation for their EirGrid Leinster U20FC quarter-final against Longford in Glennon Bros Pearse Park on Tuesday, July 2 (7.30).
While Dublin have won one, drawn, and lost one game to date Saturday's opponents, who are managed by legendary Galway footballer Padhraic Joyce, have a 100 per cent record having recording victories over Kildare (1-18 to 0-10), Cork (1-11 to 0-12) and on Wednesday night they defeated Kerry (1-10 to 1-8).
Galway have now won the tournament but both sides will still use the game with a view to their respective provincial Championships just down the road. The scheduled meeting of Kerry and Kildare has been cancelled.
The Dubs defeated Kildare in their opening game (2-14 to 0-14), then drew with Cork (1-18 each) before losing to Kerry last Saturday (1-7 to 0-7).
