The Dublin U23 Camogie Team made their Championship debut in St Peregrines on Saturday 31st May hosting Clare in their round robin match. Captain Aoife Deegan won the toss and Dublin played with the strong wind in the first half. Dublin got into their rhythm early and had a strong work rate consistent across the team. There was an impressive spread of scorers who benefitted from good delivery of ball from out the field. The forwards managed to get 3 goals in the first half despite some good Clare defending, the goals coming from Grainne Skelton (2) and Eile O Ceallaigh. Half time score Dublin 3 21 Clare 0 3.
