We're not playing at our best yet: Mattie Kenny

This year's Leinster SHC could go right to the wire following Dublin's 2-22 to 1-13 victory over Carlow in Netwatch Cullen Park last Sunday.

This weekend the Dublin hurlers are not in action as Wexford host Carlow and Galway travel to Nowlan Park to face table-toppers Kilkenny.

Then it will all be decided on Saturday night, June 15 as Dublin face Galway in Parnell Park (7.0) and Wexford play Kilkenny in Innovate Wexford Park (7.0).

Looking back on last Sunday's victory over Carlow Dublin manager Mattie Kenny said: "As I said after the Wexford game (draw), that point means that the championship is still in our own hands.

"It's knockout from now on for us, we have to win every game. We have all our loses or draws used up, so we have to make sure we get a win the next day.

"I thought it was a good solid team performance. They worked some really good scores.

"It was very blustery out there, to hit 2-22 was a good score in the conditions. We're not playing at our fully best yet, but there's signs that there's a good understanding among the lad."

Liam Rushe missed out on Sunday's encounter in Netwatch Cullen Park owing to injury but Mattie Kenny is hopeful he will be available for selection against Galway.

"Liam is one of the great Dublin warriors and Liam will do everything he can to try to be right for that (game).

"He picked up an ankle injury in the Kilkenny game with 10 or 15 minutes to go . . . that was a serious enough injury. We got him strapped up for the Wexford game, he hobbled through that Wexford game. We're working tirelessly on him to try to get him right."
