Hurlers name strong selection for clash with Antrim

Fri, 23rd January 2015

Dublin manager Ger Cunningham continues to look at his options as the Dubs face Antrim in Sunday’s Bord na Móna Walsh Cup clash at Parnell Park (2.0).

The new Dubs boss has mixed youth and experience for Sunday’s clash against the Glensmen as his surveys the talent at his disposal ahead of the commencement of the National League Division 1A campaign.

Dublin have named a strong spine to their team with Michael Carton, Peter Kelly, Ross O’Carroll, Joey Boland, Mark Schutte and Liam Rushe up the middle while the less experienced Conor Murphy and Eoghan O’Donnell come into the starting side.

Danny Sutcliffe is listed at right half-forward while David O'Callaghan is at top of the right. David Treacy, who scored 1-1 on Tuesday night against DIT after coming in as a sub, will start at left full-forward.
